On November 19, 2022 a group of women in robotics gathered to kick off the new WiR Ontario Chapter. This creation of community was an inspiring beginning for those in attendance, which included a couple of men in robotics who are allies. Mia Thomas, one of the organizers, states that allyship could play an important role in the success of WiR’s new Ontario Chapter.
