Co-design the future of healthcare technology in this experiential learning program facilitated by leading experts in healthcare, robotics, design, and commercialization.
Put your co-creative skills to work. Over the course of this 1-week intensive virtual program, you will collaborate with a team of top graduate scholars at the intersection of robotics, machine learning, and healthcare design to:
- Identify and frame a healthcare challenge where autonomous hardware solutions can make a difference. Themes include: surgical, rehabilitative, and assistive technologies
- Prototype a product design, and refine it with feedback from technical mentors and healthcare stakeholders
- Pitch your design to a panel of expert judges who will evaluate its commercial potential
Scholarship Application Deadline: June 15, 2021.
The $1000 competitive scholarship covers the full cost of tuition. Only graduate-level candidates currently or recently enrolled in a post-secondary institution may apply, and only those who commit to attending the full program will be admitted.
This graduate scholar training program is co-organized by the UofT Robotics Institute and AGEWELL, and funded by the NSERC CREATE in Healthcare Robotics (HeRo).
