Prof Yu Sun, Director, University of Toronto Robotics Institute, and Prof Richard Voyles, Daniel C. Lewis Professor of the Purdue Polytechnic Institute at Purdue University, (left and right in the photo) together organized the ETH MSRL Robotics Symposium: The Fantastic Voyage of Robotics – 20th anniversary of the Multi- Scale Robotics Lab. The symposium was in celebration of Prof Brad Nelson of ETHzürich, who is recognized as a significant leader in robotics research and was Prof Sun’s PhD supervisor. Prof Nelson is even in the Guinness Book of World Records for the “Most Advanced Mini Robot for Medical Use.”
